Integra Capital Announces Progress in Lithium Resource Development in South America
Amid the global push towards a low-carbon economy, Integra Lithium, a subsidiary of Integra Capital led by José Luis Manzano, reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development through innovative and competitive lithium exploitation technologies. As a key player in South America’s energy resource market, the company was recently highlighted during visits by international delegations organized by SMM.
Expansion and Leadership in Lithium Resources
With a portfolio encompassing 573,000 hectares of mining rights, including 496,000 hectares of saline resources in key regions such as Jujuy, Catamarca, and La Rioja, Integra Lithium positions itself as the largest private lithium operator in Argentina. Through a strategic partnership with Latin Resources, the company is advancing the Catamarca Spodumene Project, estimated to hold reserves of 200,000 tons of high-quality lithium (6% Li2O). Additionally, its operations in the Jama salt flats project an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE), strengthening the local economy through its alliance with the state-owned JEMSE.
Technical Exchange and International Cooperation
During the visit, led by SMM executives and international experts, Integra Lithium’s competitive capabilities and future development plans were highlighted. This dialogue included facility tours and strategic meetings that solidified partnerships to promote the growth of the lithium battery industry in South America.
Perspectives for a Sustainable Future
The international delegation emphasized Integra Lithium’s significance in the global energy transition and regional economic integration. The company reaffirms its vision to lead the lithium market with responsible practices and advanced technology, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth in the coming decades.
This collaboration reinforces Integra Capital’s mission to establish itself as a benchmark in the energy industry, promoting high-impact projects that are economically and environmentally responsible.
