Marcelo Idoyaga

Marcelo Idoyaga is a highly experienced exploration geologist and leader of technical teams. He has extensive expertise in exploration and development, operations, consulting, and management. He has worked extensively in multiple geographies as an international expert in geology, hydrogeology, and environmental management, across a wide range of industries including mining, water, energy, and international organizations (UNOPS-UNEP).

He has served as a managing director in several international exploration and development companies, hydrogeology and environmental services, and engineering firms.

He holds a Doctorate in Geological Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Buenos Aires. He is a Professor and Academic Researcher at the National University of Tres de Febrero and teaches postgraduate courses at the University of Buenos Aires and the National University of San Martin.
