At CADE 2025, José Luis Manzano, President of Integra Capital and shareholder of Movistar Perú, presented the company’s comprehensive strategy to restore financial and operational strength, aiming to return to positive results by the end of 2025.
The plan includes a structured reorganization process with Indecopi, fulfillment of financial commitments, and significant investment in technological infrastructure, focusing on the expansion of the 5G network, fiber optics, and the Internet for All initiative.
Manzano reaffirmed Movistar’s long-term commitment to Peru, announcing continued investments exceeding US$200 million per year to enhance connectivity and support the country’s digital transformation.
He also addressed current economic and political challenges, ongoing negotiations with creditors, and the potential of 5G deployment to drive national development.
